EXPECT TRAFFIC DELAYS ALONG FREDERICK STREET FROM CRUM RD/MAIN ST TO THE VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPT FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL WEEKS DURING WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT CONSTRUCTION
With an increasing number of reported car break-ins and the theft of items in the vehicles, the Resident State Troopers remind residents to lock your vehicles, even those parked in driveways. Most of the thefts occur in unlocked vehicles. Don't give thieves an opportunity - lock your doors.
A joint Frederick County/Town of Walkersville recycling program supplies a drop off Recycling RECYCLABLES dumpster in the parking lot behing Town Hall (21 W. Frederick Street, Walkersville) the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month, 9AM - 4:30PM The dumpster is provided for all Frederick County residents and businesses, an attendant provides supervision and assistance.
